Subject pronouns
Darija distinguishes masculine and feminine in the singular you form. The plural forms are normally used for mixed groups as well.

When the pronoun is optional
A conjugated verb often makes the subject clear, so speakers may omit the separate pronoun. Keeping it can add contrast or emphasis.
- Kanqra and ana kanqra can both mean I study.
- Use nta and nti carefully because the following adjective or verb may also mark gender.
