Our purpose
Darija Lingo helps learners understand and use the Moroccan Arabic they encounter in daily life. The website and apps connect Latin transliteration, Arabic script, meaning, listening, and practice instead of treating Darija as a list of isolated words.
What we publish
We publish structured lessons, phrase guides, vocabulary, dialogues, stories, quizzes, podcasts, and a Darija translator. Learning guides are written for practical beginner use and link to the references used to prepare them.
A living language
Darija varies by region, speaker, and situation. We document useful forms without claiming that one spelling or pronunciation is the only correct form. When reliable alternatives matter, we explain them.
Who we design for
Darija Lingo serves beginners, travelers, families, diaspora communities, students, and anyone who needs practical Moroccan communication. We use short explanations, readable layouts, two writing systems, and repeatable examples so learners can choose the path that fits their needs.
