Terms of Service

These terms apply to Darija Translator. For the learning app, use the separate Darija Lingo Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using Darija Translator, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app or related Translator services.

2. Separate Translator product

Darija Translator is a separate product from Darija Lingo. Translator accounts, subscriptions, prices, usage limits, and entitlements are separate from the learning app unless we clearly say otherwise.

3. Accounts

You may use limited guest features without an account. Premium features, synced history, and account-based services may require you to create or sign in to a Translator account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure.

4. Translation results

Darija Translator helps translate to and from Moroccan Darija. Translation results may contain mistakes, especially with slang, context, names, sensitive wording, or highly specialized text. Review important translations before relying on them.

5. Free usage and premium access

Free guest and free account usage may be limited. Free access is intended for fair personal evaluation of the service, not repeated attempts to reset or recreate free access. Premium access unlocks additional translation usage and features according to the plan shown in the app at the time of purchase.

6. Payments and renewal

Paid subscriptions are purchased through the App Store or Google Play and may renew automatically unless cancelled through your store account settings. Refunds and billing questions are handled by the store provider according to its policies.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass usage limits, repeatedly reset the app experience to obtain additional credits, create artificial new guest sessions, reverse engineer the app, overload our systems, use the app for illegal activity, or submit content that violates applicable law or the rights of others. We may block requests that appear intended to avoid fair-use limits or abuse access.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of text or voice input you provide. You give us permission to process that content as needed to provide translations, operate the service, enforce limits, troubleshoot, and improve the product.

9. Intellectual property

The app, branding, interface, code, designs, and product content are owned by Darija Translator or its licensors. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute them except as allowed by law or written permission.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, limit, pause, or discontinue parts of the service. We may also change features, prices, provider models, limits, or supported platforms to keep the product reliable and sustainable.

11. Termination

We may suspend, limit, block, or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service, misuse free or premium features, or repeatedly try to obtain more free usage than permitted. You can stop using the app at any time and may request account deletion where supported.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Darija Translator is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages from using the service.

13. Updates to these terms

We may update these terms when the product, law, or business changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
