Um dir das beste Lernerlebnis zu bieten, erheben wir minimale Daten wie deine E-Mail, deinen Lernfortschritt und Nutzungsanalysen. Wir verkaufen deine Daten niemals an Dritte.

Deine Daten werden hauptsächlich verwendet, um dein Lernerlebnis zu personalisieren, deinen Fortschritt geräteübergreifend zu verfolgen und unseren Lehrplan zu verbessern.

Wir setzen verschiedene hochrangige Sicherheitsmaßnahmen ein, darunter Ende-zu-Ende-Verschlüsselung, regelmäßige Sicherheitsaudits und strenge Zugriffskontrollen zum Schutz deiner Daten.

Die Darija-App verwendet minimalen lokalen Speicher für deine Sitzung und Einstellungen. Wir verwenden keine Tracking-Cookies von Drittanbietern oder aufdringliche Analysetools.

Children's Privacy

Darija Lingo is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us their information without parental consent, please email contact@darijalingo.com and we will delete the account immediately.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to: access a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, delete your account, restrict or object to processing, port your data to another service, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@darijalingo.com from the address tied to your account; we respond within 30 days. EU/EEA residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

How to Delete Your Account

In the app: open Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account. The deletion request is processed within 30 days; you will receive an email confirmation when complete. Alternatively email contact@darijalingo.com with the subject "Delete account" from your registered email and we will process it manually within 30 days.

International Data Transfers

Our backend is hosted in the EU; Firebase services may process data in the United States and other regions where Google operates. When data is transferred outside your country we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and equivalent safeguards under UK GDPR.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when laws change or we add new features that affect data handling. Material changes will be announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect; the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision.
